Indium Names Sales and Service Leaders

(April 25, 2007) CLINTON, N.Y. — Indium Corporation appointed Jim Slattery to vice president of technical service for its metals and chemical business unit; Scott Pringle has joined as sales director for global accounts. Pringle was previously a consultant with the company.

Slattery will oversee the technical support and service program, and recruit and train new personnel. He has served in various positions with Indium for more than 30 years, most recently as vice president of technical service for the solder products business unit. Slattery, with a B.S. in chemistry from Syracuse University, is a "Mohawk Valley Engineer Excellence" award recipient and holds eight U.S. patents.

Pringle, based in southern Calif., will manage global accounts for Indium. As sales director, he will work with field and inside sales representatives. Pringle has more than 25 years experience in electronics markets, including two years as a consultant with Indium.
