(November 19, 2007) AUSTIN, Texas — VirTex Assembly Inc. created the position of VP, manufacturing operations, to develop and enhance manufacturing efficiency and implement lean manufacturing practices. Cathy Armstrong Chamseddine will take up the position.
Chamseddine has more than 20 years experience in the EMS market. She began Excel Electronics in 1994, a low- to mid-volume manufacturer purchased by Celestica in 2001. Chamseddine was director of operations for Celestica's Austin location, and also held posts with Augmentix.
