(February 7, 2008) SAN DIEGO KIC celebrated its 30th year of business in the electronics industry. Founded in 1977 by Casey Kazmierowicz, KIC entered the electronics industry with a continuous monitoring system for conveyorized furnaces for microcomputers.
The company has grown to provide automated thermal management tools and systems for reflow, wave, cure, and semiconductor thermal processes. The company developed thermal profilers and process development tools, and then worked to create the next generation of systems to help manufacturers optimize and monitor thermal processes. KIC now provides the industry with many products aimed at helping electronics manufacturers produce the required quality at lower cost. The product range includes the KIC 24/7 continuous monitoring system, the KIC Vision automatic profiling system, and the KIC Explorer complact thermal profiler.
"These past 30 years have seen KIC change and grow to meet industry and customer requirements," said Bjorn Dahle, president. "We expect KIC in the future to continue developing innovative solutions to the most pressing needs for our customers in order to offer them real value."
