Landrex AOI names sales reps and managers; Asymtek promotes Michel van de Vijver; Numerex selects Morey Corporation for manufacturing; and Photo Stencil forms a customer support group.

Landrex Technologies Inc. appointed Michael Triber as eastern regional manager, providing pre- and post-sale support to Landrex's salespeople and customers. Triber has been in the field service industry for 10 years, with companies such as Siemens and Ekra America. He holds a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Wentworth Institute (Boston).

Landrex recently chose The IPS Group and Dytec Instruments as manufacturer's representatives in the U.S. as well. The IPS Group will represent Landrex in Texas, La., Ok., Ark., southern Calif., and Mexico. Dytec Instruments will be responsible for sales in Minn. and Wis. Both will focus primarily on the Landrex line of Optima AOI Systems. For more information, visit www.landrex-us.com.

Asymtek, a Nordson company, promoted Michel van de Vijver to GM, Asymtek Europe. Van de Vijver joined Asymtek in 2000 as European sales and marketing manager. During his tenure with Asymtek, sales have doubled, lead times to the field were reduced, and the European Application Laboratory at European headquarters in Maastricht, the Netherlands, has grow, according to the company. Van de Vijver will be responsible for Asymtek's operations throughout Europe, including applications engineering, sales, service, and support for Asymtek's dispensing and conformal coating products. He will oversee the region's distributor network and work with regional sales managers and technical support departments. For more information, visit www.asymtek.com.

EMS provider The Morey Corporation will manufacture Numerex's Orbit One SX1, a global satellite-based tracking tag. Orbit One SX1 tags are the first in a planned series of self-contained, long-duration, battery-operated, satellite-based tracking tags that accurately and cost-effectively monitor and track assets globally. The tag will be bundled with proprietary Numerex software to enable remote asset management, GPS tracking, mapping, display, reporting, and data forwarding. Morey's expertise in manufacturing hardened electronics is vital to Orbit One SX1's development, according to the companies. It is rugged and withstands real-world conditions such as high levels of vibration, heat, shock, and moisture. To learn more, visit www.moreycorp.com, www.orbit-one.com, and www.nmrx.com.
