Names in the News

Companies are updating, upgrading, and doing outreach on the ground, in management and branding, and on the Internet. Following are the announcements made by PROMATION, Kyzen, PCB Matrix, Inovaxe, FIT, MtronPTI and DSCC, and Stencils Unlimited and LPKF.

PROMATION updated its Website, www.pro-mation-inc.com to include more photos, videos, and technical details of its line of PCB handling conveyor solutions. CA Web Site Design, led by Carl Ano, worked with internal marketing to create fresh views, enhanced technical data, and new features.

Kyzen Corporation will showcase Metalnox M6319 in booth 550 at the MetalForm Exhibition and Conference, April 1–3, in Birmingham, Ala. Metalnox M6319 is a heavy-duty aqueous high-alkaline all-purpose cleaner. It is designed for cleaning oils, waxes, grease, drawing oils, machining oils, fingerprints, hydraulic fluids, road dirt, carbonized oils, petrolatum, and shop dirt while being relatively safe to use on most alloys. For more information, visit www.kyzen.com.

PCB Libraries Inc. will soon offer tools beyond the scope of CAD libraries, and adopted a more appropriate name, PCB Matrix Corp. PCB Matrix software programmers are developing a variety of software tools such as the Symbol Modeler (automated schematic symbol generation), Board Planner (assisted part placement), and Constraint Rule Editors (defining advanced signal routing rules). PCB Matrix will soon release a major upgrade to the IPC-7351 LP Suite developed by PCB Libraries. The new LP Calculator will include support for IPC-7251 thru-hole technology and by customer demand, include inch and mil units. PCB Matrix plans to roll out several products in Spring 2008. For more information, see www.pcbmatrix.com.

PROMATION Inc. also selected Production Automation as its authorized sales representative. The rep will handle PROMATION's complete line of products in Mo., Iowa, Kan., and Neb. For more information, visit www.pro-mation-inc.com.

REStronics New England was added to represent Inovaxe's inventory control products to electronic manufacturers, including INOCART material handling systems and INOKIT software. For more information, see www.inovaxe.com.

Flexible PCB designer, manufacturer, and assembler Flex Interconnect Technologies' (FIT's) quality management system was certified to AS9100 revision B standards. AS9100 revision B is a standard developed by International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQC). The certification was granted after audit by Intertek Systems, a registrar of aerospace standards. FIT received a 100% score. FIT's quality management system also complies with FDA regulation part 820: Good Manufacturing Practices for Medical Devices. To learn more, see www.fit4flex.com.

MtronPTI passed the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) certification process for MIL-PRF-55310. MtronPTI has an array of oscillator products designed for high-reliability and harsh-duty applications for military, aerospace, and avionic customers. Successful testing was completed to MIL-C-55310 to add specific oscillator families to the MtronPTI qualified products list (QPL). MtronPTI has been QPL-qualified for crystals to MIL-PRF-3098 since 1967. For more information, see www.mtronpti.com.

Stencils Unlimited Inc. selected LPKF's stencil laser cutting technology exclusively for the production of all of its SMT stencil products. These include its prototype SMT stencils and foils. The frameless solder paste stencils were designed for manual printing in a design and prototyping environment without the need for specialized printing equipment. To learn more, see www.stencilsunlimited.com and www.lpkfusa.com.
