(May 12, 2008) PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — PROMATION Inc. released an enhanced software interface for its vertical buffer system with last-in/first-out and first-in/first-out (LIFO/FIFO) capabilities.
The SCBL-77 vertical buffer is designed to control line flow. Added features include pre-reflow flow control (selectable), a cool-down hold timer (selectable), and enhanced "Self Monitoring" software system. An enhanced touch panel also provides multi-language support by displaying control features in English or Chinese.
The system provides 15 slots (stacked edge belts) each at 30-mm spacing. The station can operate as a LIFO, FIFO or PASS conveyor and is controlled by a precise servo-driven controller. Video of this system has been added to the company's Website for customer viewing.
